If you’ve worked with a coach before, use this session as a reset — a way to test out a new idea, gain fresh perspective, or reignite momentum on a stalled project.
If you’ve never been coached before, this is your chance to see what it feels like to have a certified, professional book coach look closely at your work and talk strategy with you in real time. Writing friends are awesome and AI can be helpful, but there’s nothing like talking through your story with someone who knows the craft and the kidlit market inside out.
2. Editorial Review
You’ll submit the first 3,000 words of your manuscript, and I’ll provide an evidence-based analysis of what’s working, what’s not, and where to focus next. Expect actionable, specific feedback that helps you strengthen your opening pages and clarify your creative direction — without overwhelm or confusion.

3. In-Depth Conversation
We’ll meet for a 50-minute strategy session to unpack your ideas, explore what’s resonating, and shape a clear, motivating plan to move forward. You’ll have space to ask questions, dig into your feedback, and leave with renewed confidence in your story’s direction.
